Water Quality in Monkton and New LCA Landowner Resource

Do you like swimming or boating in Lake Champlain, Monkton or Bristol Ponds? Join Lewis Creek Association and the Monkton Conservation Commission for a presentation and discussion (May 2nd at 7 PM) about water quality in Monkton and how it affects Lake Champlain’s health. What are some of the causes of poor water quality, and what can you do to help? Learn about a new resource available from LCA to help you assess your property for stormwater problems, and direct you to the appropriate resources to design and implement improvements. Brought to you with Tactical Basin Planning funding from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation. This will be a hybrid meeting, either at Monkton Town Hall or on Zoom. Please reach out to Kate Kelly at lewiscreekorg@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link to the presentation.
