Ahead of the Storm Education Materials
These Powerpoints (and associated PDFs with notes) provide the information from our training sessions for teachers and community members. They describe the background of water quality and Ahead of the Storm, how to do a site assessment of a property, such as a school, and how to involve students in the process of designing stormwater fixes. Additionally, the PDF entitled “Water Matters: Landowner Steps to AOTS” addresses steps landowners and neighborhoods can take to assess problems with stormwater runoff on their properties and roads, and make changes to their roads to improve water quality.
