This field trip will visit one of the sites chosen as a climate change refugia location, and discuss what landowners can do to improve habitats for fish (brook trout and other cold water species) and wildlife (including Wood Turtles). Join LCA’s Kate Kelly and Matt Gorton, as well as Chris Powers, Fish and Wildlife Specialist with Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department. Meet at the Park ‘N’ Ride behind Hinesburg Town Hall at 1:30 PM to carpool to the site. Landowners, anglers, and interested citizens are welcome!
